I wanted to purchase pine bunk beds for my 6 year old twins. I looked around and found one that was marked 199 euro. I was interested and said i would like two matresses worth 99 euro also. He checked the computer and he said that that bed was reduced to! 9 euro. He asked if i would like to leave a deposit and I said no if thats ok because my brother from england was paying for them as a gift with his credit card and ill pay in full when they are in. He said thats fine. I waited 2 and a half weeks for the beds and in that time my kids were sleeping in a blow up bed not very comfortable. I returned to the store to pay for the beds and they said they do not take credit card over the phone so i got my brother to transfer money to my account. I rang the store to see if bed was in and they said yes. I arrived down and he said that there were no matresses ordered! It will take a week or more to get them! I was annoyed because they should have been ordered. But the bunk was in. I went out to the car and decided I would purchase the bunks and get the mattresses somewhere else because the boys were uncomfortable. Then to be told he ordered the wrong one and the one i wanted was in fact 199 euro afterall he made a mistake! And he had to get me to wait a further 2-3 weeks for it to be delivered. I asked for the one on the shop floor at 119 euro as agreed and he said he couldnt do it. He basically said tough nothing i can do for you. So i ended up with no matresses, no bed, 5 visits into them and 2 and a half weeks wait for to be treated with no respect and they were of no help to me. I was distraught because i only budgeted for the price they gave me and everywhere else was 200 euro dearer and now my children have no bed to sleep in. I dont know if even writing this to you will help me but i felt like as a consumer I was misled and treated very poorly by this store in carlow
