We contracted to build a home on May 15 and upon doing this we were promised that it would be ready by Sept by the sales person, MaryJo Beasley. After numerous delays and excuses, the home was not even started as of the middle of August. We told them of our situation of getting into the home asap as we sold our home quickly and their repeated assurances that we would be in our home by September, the latest, middle of October. After numerous inquiries and apologies and excuses from our sales rep. We finally contacted VP Angie Colston and she indicated that we would not be in the home until the end of November. We cancelled our contract and requested our deposit back and they refused our request. We feel we were misled and missinformed and feel justified in cancelling our contract as we never would have sighned it if we wouldn't be in the home at the promised date.
