A defective 501 Levis purchased - Levis 501

I have been a longstanding user and owner of many, many Levis Jeans for several years and have been extremely satisfied. My 12 year old son, Yohann is also an user and owner of several brands of jeans, including Levi's. Seeing my collection of 501 jeans and also my stated preference for Levis 501, my son obviously wanted to own a 501. I purchased a 501 for him and he was happy with the purchase.
When he 1st wore it for a party among friends, he came home with the side seam ripped apart (obviously a quality problem, which should not have passed quality control. I called up the Levis store we purchased it from and The store manager said the rip (along a feet and a half) would be rectified and returned. At that particular point I did not study the exact problem as I was engrossed in a game of Bridge.
However, the 501 was repaired and returned. Being an, an ardent and longstanding follower of the Levis Brand I did not make an issue and considered it as just one of those problems that went overlooked The problem hit a very disappointing state when exactly the next weekend he went for a party among friends, boys and girls, and to my horror he came back with the 501 ripped at a seam and torn in two other places. All the goodness that I had ingrained in him as a responsible father was lost and shattered and which only left him with the embarassment and humiliatiion in the presence and among his peers.
I definitely need to get answers of how Levis Strauss and Co. Handles this problem and helps me and my son (hopefully) regain the esteem we had for a Levius product. I really need answers and solutions from you!!! From: Joseph Kurien, Chennai, India and my email address is
