Miscellaneous

I purchased the AVG Tuneup and Antivirus software together at our local Navy Exchange and loaded the software. I had to reinstall all software on my windows system and realized during clean up I had accidently thrown out the CD jacket which contains the product key code. I asked AVG to provide the product key number, but acted like I was speaking Martian. I called direct and the lady on the phone was literally in a different dimension, i.E. Totally lacked the ability to grasp what I was saying. I used the "ask Julia" for help and at the end of the test I was given an email address that had expired. I wrote this time to customer service and I've been given the run around for the past three weeks. All I am asking for is a measly product code and have provided UPC and sales receipt to prove my claim, I haven't asked for a refund... Until yesterday. I'm to the limit of my patience with AVG they seem to be doing their best to avoid providing help to their customers. So, please take my advice, don't get tricked by this company and perhaps do more damage to your computer, because you can forget any help from AVG.
