I retained MLG to work on a loan modification on my behalf after I fell behind on payments. I paid the 2 installments of 875 via bank draft and thought I was on the, way to solvency. I was told not to talk to my lender and, I signed a, cease and desist agreement solidifying it. I submitted all docs repeatedly and that should have been my clue. From 9. thru 5.2012 I went from foreclosure defense to modification making monthly payments of $500. I received a sale date and immediately forwarded the notice to them and was connected with Isabella Garcia in the paralegal dept. And she attempted to intervene to stop the sale, or so I thought.
I had not exhausted all my savings so a week prior to sale date and all I am getting from Isabella is I'm trying I request funds from 401 to pay arrears and get out of this mess but NO, thanks to memorial day the 3 day process to receive funds came a day aft the sale, which the bank bought.
MLG offered no solution except cash for keys program at best and I didn't need that I want my home. I contacted wells and found that I needed to fax a request to cancel having them not contact me and it took weeks for them to process that.

I have all the email conversations with Isabella saved and I canceled my retainer prior to the next monthly payment along with a request for a refund with hasn't been responded too.
I complained to anyone who'd listen and thru cfpb wells offered to vacate sale and allow me to reinstate back to presale and all seemed good. Took a month to get dollar amount from foreclosure atty but when I did I knew I could pay to reinstate which was 23000 but fees took that amount to 27000 and put my home out of reach again. Ironically the money paid to MLG is what I am short.
MLG claimed to CFPB that, they submitted docs 4days prior to sale and at the time of the sale I had stated I wanted to keep working with them but i needed that communication with them until time for billing again and the did end that.
Wells won't except anything short of full amount by 8.23.12, which just passed. I tried calling all week and no answer or reply. Supposedly my file is in the office if the president and only she open and discuss my case.
So I wait for a call or eviction because i cant leave until the title is transferred. I want to stay but I am at the point to move on. Thank God I still have 22000 from savings and if wells don't want it to keep me her I am very ok with picking up and starting over and with the sale price of the house and the appraisal it looks I will be better off anyway.
I'd love to contact some people about this MLG crap because they need to be stopped. I filed a complaint with the ftc and, i am hoping the can do something because everyone else seems side with their version I guess. But they my money and I have no home.
Colin Banyon... Nadeline Richard... Isabella Garcia and a lady named Roxanne are Ll crooks and luckily my boiling point has passed but not my anger or my desire to get justice or help someone else avoid these criminals.
