Earlier this year, I was contacted by phone from a law firm, Pressler and Pressler. The caller said they represented NCF services, and that I owed this company
$390.60. Said if the amount wasn't paid, I'd be sued or garnishied. Well, I didn't want to go throug all that, and agreed to pay the $390.60. The first installment was received by them on April 5.

I just want to find out if this is legal or not. The original creditor was HSBC. It was an old credit (Master)
card account. That acct#: (Personal Information Removed).

Recently, I received notice that my wages will be garnisheed, if my weekly pay exceeds $217.50, so far it hasn't.
