On 07/30, Quick Lube 10 Minute Oil Change on 576 Uniondale Ave, NY 11553 (516) 292-0974 changed installed a new car battery. We discovered right after the battery was installed that the indicators (blinkers) were not working. I took the car back to them. The mechanic, Jamil, walked around the car, turned on the hazard lights, said they were also not working. He said that it was an electrical problem and that they did not do that here. I took the car to another mechanic who realized that all 4 indicator bulbs had blown, and the only likely explanation is that when Quick Lube changed the battery, they shorted out the bulbs. Quick Lube is refusing to take responsibility and refuses to reimburse us for the cost of doing the diagnostic test and replacing the bulbs.
