I applied to several jobs on Craigslist. One of the responses I got is below. The link takes you to a background check site, but I didn't submit any information, because it's obviously a scam. Craigslist does warn about scams at the top of the job search process, but I wish there were a way for them to screen listings so people searching for jobs didn't have to engage in wastes of time, energy, and sometimes money, like this response.
