Velveeta cheese BAD!

I bought a 2lb box of velveeta for a cheese soup recipe I was going to make. The recipe only required 1 lb so I cut the block in half. To my HUGE surprise the block of cheese was a dark brown color and the smell was horrible! I took pictures of the block of velveeta, and would be happy to show them to you! I am very disappointed and would like to know what you are going to do about it.
