I put a wanted ad in Gumtree looking to buy a Citroen C2 front bumper. He called me and I stupidly did a bank transfer (2 actually as he told me the first one went into his ISA by mistake and he had returned it to my account, which he hadn't. So I sent him £220 twice. He told me he had sent it CityLink next day delivery. It never arrived and he never answered the phone number he had given me. I contacted the Kingston police where I live, giving them the phone numbers and bank accounts he had used, and they contacted him. He called me yesterday and had excuses for everything, he had moved, lost the tracking number, the bank hadn't returned my money like he had told them to, etc and asked for 14 days to pay me back. I agreed, still hoping to get my money back. That was yesterday. Today I stumbled upon this website and realized I'd have to wait in line for any kind of repayment, and that this guy is continuing to rip people off. The Nottingham police called me today saying Mr Hoodless had "gone underground" but that they had some leads and will continue to hunt him down. The sooner this guy ends up behind bars the better.
