Smart Living Charged me $100.00 fee and guaranteed under a coach I would be making X amount of dollars in no time

After paying my Fee for Membership of $100.00, I was assigned a coach who was suppose to call me at a certain time. He did not call at the assigned time and I waited for him all that day. However when he did call, he was upset that I was on my way to a meeting and was arrogant. When we did finally talk, he spent the entire time trying to convince me to pay more money for more things and I quickly let him know that I would not pay anymore money until I saw that this was worth the time and effort. He explained that I would not be successful unless I used these additional things at the tune of $49 more bucks. He left me with the feeling that if you don't do this you are on your own and I never heard from him again. I emailed and called and ask for my money back. The only thing I got was my back statement each month saying they had taken the monthly rate out of my check. This has been going on almost a year or it will be in November.

Today, I spoke with a living breathing body, as you know they make it very difficult for you to reach them on the phone. They tell you to email, so they can say they did not get your emails. The lady I spoke with said "Why did you wait until now to call, as if I had not been trying to reach them each month. She said, after I told them I would report them to the authorities—we will cancel you as of today. I said, I paid the $100.00 registration and so keep it, but you know I have not used not one month of service and I want to be reimbursed for each month you have used my bank account. Oh she said—we don't do that.

How can the government let these people do that. If I took money without permission, I would be locked up and they would throw away the key. They are smug and brag that goverment agencies write them letters of thanks for their help. Help how? Did I misunderstand the report? I want my money back and this company needs to be put out of the taken advantage of people business?
