My wife went to Sensident on the date above and was unable to receive the services sought by her due to the Dentist's [Nikolas Jimenez]inability to numb her despite the use of approximately 9 vials of novacaine. It was established at that point that my wife was extremely nervous about what needed to be done and would have to utilize an Oral Surgeon. Unfortunately, Sensident has no Oral Surgeons and we were compelled to utilize the services of another dental agency. The dental service provider that we chose informed us that we could avoid duplicating the cost of having my wife's mouth x-rayed again by simply requesting copies of the x-rays conducted by sensident on the 25th of June. The new dental ganecy contacted sensident and was informed that the x-rays would be emailed. However, after approximately 2 weeks and not hearing from the new dental agency my wife contacted them and was informed that the x-rays had not been received. We contacted sensident via phone on 7/26 and was informed that my wife had to sign a release form in order for the x-rays to be released and we were further informed that when the release form was signed we could retrieve the x-rays at that point. We chose to go to sensident that afternoon and after informing my us that we the process would take approximately 30 minutes and after waiting the 30 minutes we were then informed prior to the production of the x-rays that there would be a 4100.00 charge for the x-rays. After attempts by the sensident personnel to impress upon us the bogus purposes for the charge, we exited absent the x-rays.
