On Saturday July 14 th I went to my bank's ATM and discovered that on 7/13 a charge in the sum of $8.25 was debited to my account by Car Web Mall. I did not make any purchases at this web site. I do not own a car and therefore do not need or would purchase any car accessories. I have never been to this web site! I contacted my bank and expressed my concern about the charge. I emphatically denied making any such charge. My bank told me that an investigation would be made. I was also advised by my bank to get a new card. I initially did not google the Car Web Mall web site. However, I am glad that I decided to because I was astonished to discover that there were several other complaints just like mine. The complaints all addressed the issue of people discovering that charges were made to their account of which they had no knowledge. This company and i'ts practices need to be addressed immediately. This whole issue is very disturbing in many ways to say the least.
