This incident happened during the month of June in what is probably known as the Ghana gold scam as someone posing as my Russian Friend had claimed that someone hacked into her account and was leaving Russia to come to me as her country had become cangerous for her to live in.
I sent money to buy her an entry permit into Canada as the man Abdullah Sadat was suppose to be a travel agent who worked closely with the consulate in Ghana.
I had to also pay for a document of a declaration fee which would be re-embursed to me upon entry into Canada.
On June 12th, I received a phone call on what was suppose to be Amsterdam customs at 3:30 in the morning telli ng me that my Russian friend had been detained because of 35 kilograms of raw gold found on her.
I had to pay $2100.00 toward a certificate of anti-terrorism and another $2100.00 for a certificate of ownership of the gold.
They wanted more money after but I declined when I realized that this was a scam as on the telephone bill for June 12th showed that at 3:30 in the morning that the pghone call had actually come from Ghana but from another phone number of the man who was a lawyer in ghana working along mr. Sadat.
The Lawyers name was George Minkah in which a separate complaint will be filed against him too.
