Misleading hiring practices, now my long-distance service is messed up

I worked very briefly for NHCK in October. I was hired under false pretenses after answering an internet ad. I had a lengthy interview with the recruiter, Elaine Meyers, and was told more than once that this was not a telemarketing position. She told me I would be calling people who had already expressed an interest in the prescription drug program and setting up appointment times for them to be called by the sale people. I attemted to clarify several times and was told directly "this job is not telemarketing."
Needless to say, I was disappointed when I found out that this job was absolutely telemarketing. Once I authorized the deposit from my debit card, I felt I had to at least make a go of it, though I was heartsick that it required me to make cold calls. I quit after a few days.
Until recently, I had written off the whole experience as a hard-earned lesson; however, last week I was suddenly shut out from the 10-10-811 service that I had been using (before and after my brief stint at NHCD). After several phone calls, the problem was traced back to NHCD who apparently still had me listed as an employee. I have been unable to talk to anyone who is willing to help me resolve this.
