Newmart Promotions Inc. Promotes and operates 19 gun/knife shows annually which typically draw large crowds within the New England Area of the U.S.A. I have been retailing and repairing low/mid/high and custom grade pocket knives and fixed blade knives for most of my life. I have sold thousands of knives thus I am thoroughly familiarized with good customer service. However about 5 years ago I had decided to take up college and placed retailing and repairing knives on the backburner while I attended school. All the while I had been still receiving dealer table reservation oriented advertisements from Newmart Promotions Inc.in the mail one month prior of each gun/knife show that they operated. Having made large sums of money retailing and repairing knives at their shows prior to my higher education spree I decided to call and reserve a table at their upcoming gun/knife show in Marlborough, MA. A woman named Carole answered the phone, almost instantaneously I was intimidated by the "Don’t Waste My Time!" overtone in her voice... Not even a "Hello" was offered. Her first question is “What Are You Selling? ” I responded "Mid Grade Pocket Knives", she retorts "Sell Something Else".in a state of shock I respond "I don’t know any other products and knives is what I had always sold at your shows". She responds "Sell Canteens or Hunting Bags", that’s like telling a car salesman to become a carpenter overnight, She hangs the phone up on me... (It’s a landline). I called her back with the intention of informing her that I can bring High Grade knives to the show if that is what she desired, however I couldn’t even speak 3 words before she cuts me off saying "We Don’t Want Your Kind At Our Shows!" in an extremely hateful tone. Following this incident I had my business partner call using his business information and telling her that he is selling High grade knives and she responds "Not High End Enough" in a rude manner and also hung the phone up on him as well.
