Home made kraft macaroni & cheese - kraft home made macaroni & cheese

I bought 2 bags of the homemade Kraft macaroni & cheese. I was entertaining 5 people so I wanted to do both bags. I started the water to boil the macaroni. I drained it, not rinsed as the package said. I started to melt the butter and realized there was no seasoning packets in my kits. All that sat on the counter was the cheese sauce / bacon bits... I had to rig it to make it work so I didn't have to throw it all out... How weird would that be to have both kits have no seasoning packets in it? Not happy!!
