Lousy Service

We resently moved from Colorado to Washington. We thought we make it easiser on us by contacting PODS and let them move us, instead of U-Haul. Since my Husband is a diabled Vet. And cant do much anymore from the injuries he recieved while serving in the millitary. Well let me tell you that was the biggest Mistake ever. First we called PODS and talked to the Regional Manager named Mark, he explained to us how PODS works. And I Quote: You pay a deposit Fee of $500 dollars and give them a date and they drop of the POD on the reqested date, when you are done Loading call again and they pick it up and deliver it to the new Location, and you pay for the rest you still owe. So we thought ok works for us Ha. After we Loaded the pod we called them to come and pick it up, naturaly they could not since it was high season for moving. So my Stuff was sitting locked up in my drive way in colorado, while we where in Washington. When i resently called them and asked on the Status they told me that my Stuff was picked up on the 6th of july instead of the nines but corrected themselfs very quickly, and told me that my goods be here on the 17th of july. Suprise pods called me and told me that they can not deliver my goods unless they recieve payment in full. So i called Pods again and talked to somebody named James. Itold him that the credit card my Husband gave them was locked up do to fraud, and i just pay by check when it gets here, oh no he said we do not take ckecks credit card only, and it will not be delivert untill there is 0 bal. So i asked for a supervisor or manager to talk to and he said sorry but there is none of them on site and i have to talk to him regarding that matter. Meantime there holding my Household for randsome and charging me storage fees for there Fault for not picking up the POD on the date we asked for. Dont get me wrong i am willing to pay for the moving but i am very diopointed by the way they handle this. Everybody is telling you some different, you cant get a hold of a manager they put charges on your bill you dont know what for, in my opinion PODS is the worst moving company ever, and please do your self a favor, when you are moving stay as far away from PODS as possible, otherwise you end up like me and live in an emty House, a Husband with PTSD and have PODS calling me everyday and demand Money from me by credit card. And by the way the phone call is not free they will add $ 10.00 to your acct. So my next phone call will go to the BBB and where ever ells it takes me to go in order to get this matter solved. PODS is a very poor poor Company as far as i am concernd. Regina W.
