I ordered my dress for a pageant, I found out literally a few hours later that someone else had the same dress so I obviously can't wear it, by this time they had closed and do not work for anyone to speak to at weekends (which in itself is strange for this type of business) but i emailed anyway. Then on monday I waited until 2pm on the dot (9am their time when they open) to speak to them on online chat. I explained the situation and that I would just like to change the dress for another, it had not yet been shipped so couldn't see the problem and thought it would be ok. Apparantly not their t&c's are that no changes can be be made to the order (which i find ridiculous even if not a refund most companies let you exchange!) I said that I understood but it wasn't as if it had been shipped, i was told it was 'on a truck with other packages ready to be processed and shipped' and so nothing could be done. I asked if it could just be taken off and the other sent instead and that i'd wait, but no. My boyfriend even rang from the UK as I was so upset as I couldn't afford another, my pageant is very soon and i now had no dress (or one i couldn't wear) but they wouldn't do anything simply repeating they couldn't do anything... Lets face it of course they could it happens to companies all the time that exchange and help so it was by no means impossible. Very disappointing and unhelpful in every way. I think they need to understand the importance of the events that people buy these sorts of dresses from them for and the effect that their unhelpful attitude has!!!
