I received a letter in a brown envelope with black writing saying RAPID NOTICE
FINANCIAL ACQUISITION AGENCY PO BOX 527800 Miami FL 33152-7800 FORM 0110
and it look official. I opened it and there was a letter with EXPRESSED NOTICE RE: Cash award total of over $2,536.092.23 identified and now pending payment A/C 7454016703

The body of the letter:

Dear (my name)
Please be advised that the prize total of $2,536, 092.23 has been identified as now due for payment, Dona Davis. These funds are offered by third party sponsors not affiliated with the Financial Acquisition Agency, an independent notification service.

You have been selected, (My name) and Account No. 95401673 has been established in your name, to facilitate transfer to you of complete accounting of prize funds now due. Please make reference to this account number in all correspondence with Financial Acquisition Agency.

It went on to give details about tracking form below to complete it and initial where indicated.

The letter went on to say it must be postmarked by midnight, 7/4 and the deadline is strictly enforced.

I completed the form and returned it in the envelope provided on today 6/29 so they should get it before the deadline.

I am submitting this complaint because after careful consideration I decided to investigate to see if this was some sort of scam. It appears to be since I've seen so many complaints about the same thing. I've seen the images submitted and they look exactly like the correspondence I've received.

I want to know what my next step should be.

I completed the form and mailed it back but I did not send any money to them. I figured it was a scam of some sort.
