I bidded for a phone which came to $16NZ. I thought this was all, but then I was charged $118 and $1 separately. When I queried this, I was told I had signed up to become a platinum member. I did not see this and told them I was not aware of it. I asked how do I not become a member as they said I am a member for three months at $118 per month. I was told to not become a member it costs $54 to cancel. Well, I thought as they had only taken $118 out, I should just pay $54 to cancel my subscription (A subscription I was not even aware I had become a member). This did not happen as I am still paying $118NZD and another $1. Oh, and I still have not got the phone I won and paid for. How can they even use my credit card details without my approving to them taking money out? They say helpful staff, I have to wait while they discuss with their team leader before they respond every time I question them about all these charges. I want to put a stop to this now, no more money to them... But how?
