Miscellaneous

Actually the company that scammed me is World Property Invest but they are now using the name Pelican Beach and Lagoon. This is a very professional scam. They are selling lots near Sabancuy in the state of Campeche in Mexico. They have very professional staff that work from an office in the city of Merida in the state of Yucatan. The salesman that scammed me is Pedro Pablo Gongora. They sell lots telling people that any type of use is available, be it comercial or retirement living. When you go to get a permit you find out that the lots are actually on Federal land and permanent residency will never be allowed, also the promised utilities will never be provided. Exhaustive environmental studies are required to enable any type of development and permits are almost impossible to obtain. The thing is why would anybody want to build a house where you can never live and never be able to get services in the first place? This is an ongoing scam, Mexican laws allow scammers to cheat foriegners.
