On 6/16, I received two text messages telling me my Visa debit card was temporarily locked due to suspicious activity, and to call the security department at 805-244-1545. I did a *67 and then dialed the number. An automated voice said, "Welcome to Bar Visa. Your card temporarily locked due to suspicious activity. Please enter your 16 digit card number now." I live in the Tampa, Fl area like the others who have received suspicious calls, but the number requested to dial is in California. I believe this is a scam to get me to enter my visa card number so they can steal from my account.
