Shopnbc - V2 Premier ripoff nothing but a piece of junk compute

Same complaints I have been reading... I foolishly ordered one of the v2 premier computers and in short the read-only cd/dvd drive didn't work from the get go (got infected with a virus that wrote on my cd's as a result of having to use the other read/write drive because I could not get the read only drive to read my cd's initially) had to have motherboard and drive replaced.

I figured it was going to take a while to to get the replacement parts (this based on the incompetence of those I had dealt with at Visacom from the very start - 8 months) that I built a new computer from scratch on a bet with my daughter that "I could build a new one before Viscom fixed this one." I was right - got mine built before theirs was fixed (never built one before).

Can't even go into how bad customer support is both at shopnbc and viscom! I ended up fixing the read/write drive myself. The swithes on both drives were set to "master". This means that the computer would only be able to see one drive or the other, never both. With the swithes as such it was never going to recognize both drives! This in a nutshell demonstrates that the systems are not possibly tested before they leave the factory. I have worked in Quality Assurance all my life and can't believe this company can continue to operate with such a poor quality product.

Jim Petersons product quality and Shopnbc's "commitment to its valued customers" as demonstrated by their policies to blatantly refuse to accept responsiblility for ANY vendor they represent on the air (beyond the 30 days) is appalling (other problems, other vendors). I tell everyone I know how and were I got my computer and tell them that Shopnbc are shamesless thieves, just like viscom!
