Miscellaneous

I received an email from my brother. Opened it and the message was a link (don't remember what it was now-I have deleted it). Said "take a look at this, it looks great!" I clicked on the link and there was a picture of a woman with a long message about working on the internet posting links. The article claimed the woman was from a place just 10 miles from my area. Since my brother works on line, I thought this was a good email. Guess I should have looked at the time it was sent: 3:00 A.M. On June 9. The more I read, the better it sounded so I decided to spend the 97.95 to find out how to go about this work. I printed the receipt and I do have that copy. Later in the afternoon, I started getting returned emails due to failed delivery. That's when I realized that I should not have opened that email. I have called my credit card people and protested payment. Haven't heard back from them yet. I got a couple of confirmation emails that I opened before I realized this was a scam. Also got one on June 10. The different emails were signed: 2 by a Jay S and the other by Alyssa Jackson.

They took (RIPPED OFF!) my 29.95 (reduced fee from 49.95) to become a member or listing agent for top companies, i.E. WalMart, Home Depot. CROOKS! Provost
