I was contracted with Professional Land Resources to do title work for gas and oil projects. I first billed them on 4/1 and several times after (for other work). Our contract states that they have 45 business days to pay an invoice. According to Ashley Green, the Vice President, whom I first spoke with about this matter on 5/17, they had until 6/5. On 6/7 and 6/12, I spoke with Tim Kelly, the CFO to find out the status of my first check and found out that they had not even sent it and he wasn't sure when it was going to be paid because they haven't been paid by their client.

I've billed them for several projects and have not been paid once since I started. I've had to pay expenses for copies, mileage, etc. All this time and have not even been reimbursed for any of that. Currently, they owe me $1274.21 (past due amount) and will owe me more, in the near future, a total of $10,600.19. They have outright scammed and mislead me into doing work for free because they assume I can't sue them and they can hide behind their contract. Yet they blatantly disregard their own terms when it comes to paying me.
