Miscellaneous

Posted my daughters Diamond Solitare Wedding ring on Craigslist. About 2 days went by and I woke to find a text from NYC. A person was in a hurry to buy this for their Colleage in west Africa. Sent me a letter from PayPal saying he was a safe buyer and they knew him. It was as real looking as could be. Said his name was Taylor White. The PayPal letter said they would not give the money without a tracking number. It did not show pending on my account, but did not see the red flag because of the PayPal letter. Went to the post office and filled out the paperwork. The person at the postoffice warned us not to do it, but there was another person working with her so she backed off so she wouldn't get in trouble. I bought Ins. On it ($1200.00). So when we got home we kept checking our account, nothing. So we found a number for PayPal and that is when the lady told us it was a scam!!! They even had the nerve to later send another PayPal letter saying the account was overdrawn by $400.00 and could we send the $400.00 dollars to them. I then let this person know I contacted Pay Pal and they said PayPal was making mistakes. Since all this has happened we tracked the ring to Ogun, Nigeria and no one has signed for it yet. I am hoping that this Scum is not wanting to sign. Maybe they will send it back.
