Gilt Groupe Return - Tourneau watch

I had been searching high and low for a Tourneau watch and finally found one on Gilt for a fraction of what they usually cost— a large fraction, but a fraction nonetheless. I order it and my parents save it and keep it to give it to me as a birthday present. When I open it, the watch looks NOTHING like the picture.instead, it looks like a cheap, fake, plastic version. I, of course, not to mention my family, having shelled out incredible amounts of money, am very upset. Gilt Groupe is unrepentant when I call and explain the situation, giving me the same jerky response about time having passed and it being non-returnable. Gilt, newsflash, you are selling me junk that looks nothing like the pictures. And you want to know what is especially aggravating? They say because it is so expensive they won’t accept the return! They were able to con me out of so much money, and that’s why they don’t want to do the return. Got it. Great policy Gilt. Finally, I try to take matters into my own hands and ship it back myself. Then Jesse from Gilt decides to send it back to me. I cannot tell you how upsetting and disappointing this has been and how ruthlessly Gilt goes after people with an unabashed sense of indifference to its customers.
