This company has very deep pockets and as landlords they use their money to beat up tenants through legal games.

Fact: Property returned to great condition and the landlord would not refund the deposit.

Fact: The multi-tenant building leaked from the outside and destroyed inventory. The Landlord lied. The tenant had to call and pay for a service to determine the leak. Landlord continued to lie and had the building quietly repaired. Tenant left holding the bag of destroyed property.

Fact: Landlord allowed one property to become completely infested with flying termites.

This drove tenants customers away.

Fact: In a multi-tenant buidling one adjoining suite had equipment that leaked and caused over $3,000 in damages to the carpet, $1,000 damage to the cieling of another tenant. Landlord's response: brought in a couple of fans. Tenant left holding the bag of destroyed personal property. Tenant was threatened with retaliation if they initiated an insurance claim against the landlord.
Fact: When gas and electric bill suddenly dropped by $5,000 a year the tenant called the utility company for an investigation. Was the tenant paying for common area for 6 years and out $30,000 because of it? Landlord stonewalled.

Fact: Leases contain a clause stating that the tenant has a right to quiet occupation. Landlord completely disregarded tenant rights and caused a loss of revenue. No one wants to shop while the courtyard is being jackhammered. A request to honor the clause was made. Landlord ignored it.

Fact: This landlord/property management company lies, intimdates and plays expensive legal games to try and crush honest, hard working small business owners.

Fact: This report has been posted as a public service to small business owners. This is not a landlord of integrity.in fact, this landlord uses a "rape and pillage" strategy "to educate" tenants to their policies; their greed has no bounds; their contemptuous treatment of tenants and service providers is legend; tenants and service providers are nothing but a means to an end for these guys.
