Miscellaneous

In short, I was told that I would be participating in a research grocery program that wanted to know what type of products I was buying and that I would be receiving $1000 back on groceries purchased. All I would have to do was send in a copy of my receipts along with a coupon that I would be receiving in the mail. I received a bunch of coupons for discount gas and a bunch of other stuff and so called discount programs. I also received the grocery discount coupon that stated to send in my receipt and i would get back $25.00... Well before i sent in anything I decided to call and make sure I wasn't getting charged for any of these other programs that i was receiving in the mail and lo and behold, I found out that I not only got charged $19.95 plus $2.95 but that I would be getting charged $14.95 every month! And God only knows what other charges I would of incurred! This is a SCAM! I had to YELL at the guy on the phone to reverse the $2.95 that had nothing to do with groceries, it was another separate program. The telephone number on my credit card statement for the Direct Savers program is a wrong number so I am about to call the bank. I do not need this STRESS! If I can get all my paperwork together I am reporting them to the news! These are hard times and I don't appreciate these scammers!
