I ran a Craigslist ad advertising my companies services. I was contacted, by email, by TradeWorkers. The rep stated that all I needed to do was pay $99 for a background check and then they would send work orders my way.
I asked how they got paid and who controlled the work. She stated that they worked directly with Banks and they got paid no matter what. I asked how would they know if I did the job? She stated that I would work directly for the bank. Now, Listen up. If this isn't a scam, I don't know what is. Trade Workers makes their money on the $99 fee for a background check - plain and simple. Who knows where your personal information goes - maybe they sell it abroad.
