My 93 year old mother got a call about a supplimental insurance plan.
Was asked for the last 4 digits of her checking acct. # for verification of her identity.
Kept telling them she was not interested, finally agreed to receiving a brochure to explain the program.
She received the brochure, and a welcoming letter and her checking acct was debited 448.74.
