pay the invoice or you will regret it like me.
Thanks to all these posts, I took the advice of many people on here and it back-fired.
My company refused to pay the invoice that I authorized. The account was sold to a collection agency. The new total was TRIPLED!!! I refused to pay. My credit score in December was 782. It now registers at 362!!! My husband is furious with me as we were getting ready to buy our first home. I got papers from the collection agency for small claims court. I called them because I don’t want to go to court. They offered to settle before court for 1257.62 immediately. I took it! I should have just paid the $600. After all, I did authorize it and they did advertise the business on the internet.
