The charge appeared on my bank statement on a day I had not made any purchases. I did a web search of the company and all I found is sites like this one to submit a complaint or sites where other people wrote about the scam. I immediately was at my credit union when it opened the next morning and we cancelled my card. The gal at the credit union stated these type of scans typically charge small amounts to see if they go through and then later when you least expect it they charge larger amount. How did they get my card number?
