I received a letter from GRT Consumer Research & Management Inc. 11420 Lackland Rd St. Louis, MO. 63146 USA, and a check in the amount of $1,994.15, drawn on US Bank, the name on the check was SCHNUCK MARKETS, INC, same address as alleged business on letterhead. I was supposed to call within 48-hours to get it authorized the number listed which was 647-537-8065. I was to use $30 of the money to make purchases at Wal Mart and JC Penny or Kmart, and $1,530.00 to send from Western Union and fax the form letter sent to me back with the receipts from the businesses including Western Union to the following fax number 419-745-5555. I became aware of this scam by searching the web for the company when the companys name brought me here and I found a complaint same as mine under different name for the exact same scam. I have not deposited the check into my bank and will not thanks to the information obtained on this website. Please be careful and tell as many people as possible not everybody has access to computers.
