Miscellaneous

Finding this site has heartened me as I see that I am not the only one who was sucked into this "free trial offer" only to find out it seems we've signed up for some sort of automatic renewal. My story is identical to the two dozen or so I have read just now - ordered the "free" product, paid shipping, received product and then a week ago find out that my account has been charged $79.95 - a sum I seem to have unwittingly agreed to because I didn't read the "fine print." I requested for online customer service at DermaBeauty.com, and received TWO emails saying a "ticket number" has been assigned to me - in fact, I got two DIFFERENT ticket numbers. Tried to access each only to get a "Forbidden to view" message. Tried the 888 number on the brochure, which also turned out to be dead end. This company must exist somewhere as they sent me product and charged my account.

Now I will be going to my bank on Monday to cancel out my account to prevent any future charges. I feel like a dunce for having fallen for this scam - particularly one advertised on AOL/Huffington Post. Should have known there's no "cheap" way to look younger despite what the ad says.
