Urnt cookies and faulty packaging - Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies

On the package there is a number 01 Nov 12 4z1 6-3 11:08 upc code 4400002850.
I have been eating this brand CHIPS AHOY since AUGUST OF 1969 and over the years i have had bad batches, but this one is the worst, it does not have the taste of a good batch and is not a pleasure to eat, please understand i enjoy my snack and dont really eat any other brand as you can tell from the length of time. Also the packaging (this one) opened slowly just came apart please advise
