OVERCHARED RIP-OFF - UPS delivery Service

Miscellaneous

In April I sent 3 boxes, totalling 42 lbs. To Phoenix AZ as a donation for a children's hospital charity event in May. UPS is billing me for $398.06 for this shipment. The charity was willing to repay me reasonable shipping charges, but in good consciousness I can not ask them for this absurd amount. UPS acknowledged the billing and has offered a "goodwill gesture" of reducing it by $178.20 but only if it is applied to a next invoice. There will be no next invoice. I am a disabled, senior citizen on a fixed income and this overcharge will eat up 1/3 of my social security check this month, money that I need for rent and medical expenses.

Cold hearted, cruel, and ugly ups.
