Stuart c. LILES, deadbeat dad, self-employed to avoid child support!

My 15 year old son's father, Stuart C. Liles, of Tybee Island, Georgia, owes approximately $30,000 in back child support and won't pay. He and his current wife obtained a federal goverment Small Business Adminstration loan to remodel and open a bed and breakfast in the resort community of Tybee Island, Georgia.

The reason they chose this way of earning a living is so that Stuart would not have wages that could be garnished. It is very likely that all the income is in his wife Susie Morris's name and that he claims no income even on taxes. For a few montsh, back in 1997, Stuart paid the $120 a week to me for my son's support. After about 3 years of him not showing up in court, he needed to clear the judgment from his credit rating to obtain the loan. To do this, he had to show a few months of payments and settlement of the $18,000 he already owed. I settled for his $3500 tax refund at that time, believing that $3500 was better than nothing. Since 1997 he has paid nothing and will not respond to requests.

The State of Illinois is not very helpful in collecting child support for NON welfare single parents, and out of state dead beat dads, and I cannot afford a private attorney.in 3 years its time for college and I can't afford that either.
