Hard for a single fathe

I applied for assistance online and was pleased when I got a letter within a few days for an appt to come in the office! I applied the 1st week of April and had an appt the 2nd week. When I went to my scheduled appt I waited over an hour and a half to been seen just to have my interview for 30 mins. The worker was extremely unprofesional as I sat in her office. I had EVERY document they requested and more! I applied for assistance for myself and my two children. For whatever reason they only gave me benefits and said I wouldn't get benefits for my children until June because their mother would still recieve benefits until May! WHY? I am the one with our kids, that I've had for the past 3 years, as she's been getting the cash, medical, and food stamps? Why do I have to wait? Why she gets all the benefits and I have them? It's hard being a single father! It seems like it is so much favor for the women and not the fathers, who are in the same predicament! I need benefits now and not in June!!
