ShiteShirts Shitewear LLC rip-off ShiteShirts Ireland

ShiteShirts Ireland were appointed sole distributors by ShiteShirts (Shitewear LLC) in August. Shitewear asked us for a marketing plan for their shirts which we provided and carried out at considerable expense to us (including stands at events, leaflet drops, advertising in magazines, website listings). We placed our first order of 100 shirts 1,900 (approx.) which we paid for and we received our shirts. The company was difficult to deal with and communication was an issue from the start, but we felt that this would improve as our relationship developed.

We started to receive orders, especially coming up to the Christmas season. Shitewear decided out of the blue to increase our minimum order from 100 shirts to 250 shirts (4,700). We had difficulty with this because of the cost involved as we had not budgeted for same. We paid for this order of 250 shirts 4,700 in December. We did not receive the 250 shirts and have not received a refund of our money to date. We then received a call on January 13th to say that Shitewear had decided to cancel our distribution agreement with explanation, no notice and no refund.

We have been treated very unfairly by this company to say nothing of the fact that they took money from us for an order, did not deliver that order and will not give our money back. We were a small Irish start-up company. All of the funds we used both on marketing and to pay for the order in question were borrowed and have to repaid by us. We entered into this agreement in good faith and set about making it a success with total commitment and honesty. We would like to highlight what Shitewear LLC have done to us in an effort to stop it happening to any other small company.
