I received a telephone call from a John Fernandez. He advised me that I had many errors on my computor and that his company was the repair arm for Microsoft. I asked the name of his company. He replied EProtectionZ from San Francisco. I told him that I was not interested if there were going to be any charges. He insisted that there were no charges. He directed me to go on-line, which I did, He than directed me to click many different steps on the computor. Eventually, the screed showed many errors on 7 catagories. I sensed what was happening and I told him I am not inerested in paying to remove the errors. He than put his supervisor on the fhone named Pedro. He went over the same "spiel" that Fernandez did. He said they would correct and guarantee the computor for a nominal amount. He than said He would put his systems engineer, Roger Hunt, who said he would repair and guarantee the computor for 1 year for $169,2 years $269 and 3 years $349. I told him I was not interested. I realized it was a scam and asked him to return my screen to it's original condition. My screen was black. He refused and I threatened to call Microsoft. Which I did. They said they could not be responsible tor a scam artist. Eventually, I was able to return my computor to it's original condition. Tis entire episode lasted 1 hour.

Beware of e protection z. They are phoney.
