I've got a SMS message early in the morning on 18 April. It said that my number came out as one of the lucky winning number for the Apple Inc. Mobile Promotional Award. The prize is US$900,000 and told me to send a e-mail to claim it. I just sent a reply back via my phone and a reply got back to me later the same day. It's got the same content like the one in the scambook only that it's from a guy called Gary Peterson from 1 Infinite Loop Cupertino, California 95014, United States. I sent the info. He required like full name, address, mobile phone no. Occupation and DOB. He sent a reply to instructe me to contact a lawyer called Jonathan Blake of SJ berwin Law Firm at 110 Queen Park Drive, London, EC4R 1BE, Uk via e-mail address: jtnlaw@live.com or call 44-793-701-7798. At this point, I sensed that something is wrong. I think I've been misled by the big name APPLE GROUP and I start search for further information and I found this site to report this scam. Lucky that I haven't got any damage so far. But I don't know what these people will do with my personal details that I've so stupid to send them at the beginning. I hope that the others will get smarter when come up with this kind of traps.
