Purasilk and Alluria
Consumer Report

Miscellaneous

I foolishly responded to a free trial offer on the Internet and ordered both Alluria and Purasilk skin care on 30 March. When the two packages arrived on 3rd April, I became aware for the first time of the true cost! I returned both packages the next day to the U.K. Address, unopened, with a letter of explanation and details of my name and address, also retaining proof of postage. Like other customers, I didn't realise that you need a RMA code in all situations but thought that this only applied to people who had used part of the contents. On 13th April my credit card was charged for both products! I rapidly came to the conclusion that I was the victim of a scam, cancelled my card and contacted the credit card retail disputes department. They advised me to contact first the Company by email or phone, both of which I have done. They agreed to reimburse me once they have confirmation that the packages have been received at the warehouse - difficult without the RMA code! Otherwise the charges will stand, even though I no longer have the goods! In desperation I have now written to the manager of the warehouse in Galashiels to plead with him for help! I will continue to pursue this matter!
