Through Craigslist the person tried to scam me by making me provide my Paypal information. I found this scam on this website and other websites:

Here is the response from the "buyer", which I was supicious from the start:

First Email:

Hello,
I saw your add on craigslist and will like to know if its still available for purchase.

Kindly get back to me soon.

Thanks

2nd email:

Hello

Thanks for your prompt e-mail, i would like you to answer some few questions about the item;

1. Are you the first owner?

2. Are there any other issues with the item not mentioned on Craigslist?

3. Are you selling any other items?

I will be glad if you can tell other interested buyers that the item has been sold. I'm offering the exact price listed so please kindly withdraw the ad from Craigslist. I will be paying via PayPal.

I will need you to provide the following information to facilitate the Payment

1. Your PayPal Email Address.

2. Your address for pick up.

I will be responsible for moving, i will have my mover to come over for the pickup after i have made the payment
