LARRY " the bengal man " SICK, Then Died... Woldn't give us the time of day

We did business with Acappella's Larry " the Bengal Man " from New Braunfels and it's the worse experience a family could go through. It seems like Larry has been producing sick cats for sometime. We never knew it. We met Larry (he smelled like beer) and he showed us around. His cats we're ferral and did not like the hand but one was kind of friendly. We asked about her and his price was more than we ever expected, YIKES. Larry said it came with a guaranty so, we wanted a new baby in the house. Larry never gave us a correct bill of sale or other needed paperwork but, he spun a story that was hard to keep up with. The next day the kitten started to throw up and we ran it to the vet. He said that the kitten was dehydrated and needed fluids. He said that the kitten had fleas, ear mites, ring worm and never should of been sold. We had the kitten checked out and a few hundred dollars after we took her home. She always seemed tired, never really acted like a lively kitten. We called Larry and he spun another story about it was just a change of lifestyle.

We lost the kitten. It passed away from FIV. When we went back to the breeder he denied the sale and sent us along our way. We thought about court, we thought about Karma and sooner or later it will all catch up with him. If your looking to buy a bengal, do not trade with this breeder. During this time, our vet had contacted his vet and his vet had said that FIV was in their cattery.
