On Time Appliance Services Inc.in Miami is a Rip Off

The convention bake cycle on my G. E Monogram was not heating. I had researched the issue online and all the articles pointed as the convention heating coil to be the problem. I contacted On Time Appliance Services Inc. Thru their Broward number 954 665-0036 as is advertised in The Flyer. Mr. Lopez (the owner) said he was sending someone that day to fix my oven which the convention cycle was not heating up. The rest of the oven: Bake, Broil etc were working fine. It took 2 days later for him to send a technician. The moment he walked into the house, I could tell that David, the technician, was clueless of where to start and obviously had never seen a convention oven before.in addition he was wearing a shirt impersonating another company 911 Appliances who also advertises in the flyer next to On Time and at one time Otto was a partner. David told me the two companies were the same company. An hour later he said the problem was the heating element and that he would get back to me the next morning with a quote. As soon as I paid the service charge, he left. A few minutes later I tried to turn on the oven to heat up our dinner and nothing was working. I call him on the phone and his answer was that he had reversed the cables to prevent a shortage and that the next day he would come and fix it regardless of them doing the work or not. I waited the next morning but never received the phone call with the quote. At around noon, I called Otto and he said the cost of the repair was almost $300. My response was that why if the part was anywhere between $26 and $76 why charging me so much and that I was not going to fix it. At that time he told me since I knew so much to fix it myself, cursed profanities at me and hang up the phone and when I tried calling him back, he would continue to hang up on me. He said he was not going to send anyone to reverse the cables, that the David guy did not worked for him and that I had no proof of the repairman coming to my house because I had pay him cash and he did not gave me a receipt. Now, because of their unprofessionalism and unethical practices, my family doesn’t have a working oven to cook and unfortunately nobody that I have called wants to work on it because it was tamper with. I don’t understand how companies like this that dedicate themselves to rip off the consumer are allowed to operate in Florida. After a little research later I found out that Otto Lopez in addition to his past with 911 Appliances is also affiliated with 911 Sliding Door, Otto Painting and operates out of his house. Do yourself a favor and avoid this individual or any of these companies.
