I was asked to do a Wal Mart mystery shop. I received two money orders, which I cashed, then did the shop, following the directions.
Ultimately, each money order requested a money transfer, which I unfortunately did. I thought a money order was like cash, not realizing that it could be fabricated, which it was.
Bangor, Maine police have arrested two people who may be connected with this scam, but that is still to be determined. The scam was reported to Saco, maine police.
