Berkeley Nutraceuticals, the makers of Avilmil, Altovis, Enzyte, Dromiax Numovil, Ogoplex, Pinadol, Prulato, Rogisin, Rovicid and Suvaril. All these brands are marketed by a company called Berkeley Nutraceuticals. This company advertises on television for consumers to call for a "free sample" but among their advertising, the wording that comes across your television screen says "12 month money back guarantee".
What this company doesn't tell the consumers that call and aren't careful is that they will charge your credit card for a minimum of 12 months. I made a mistake in ordering a "sample" product and have been fighting with this company since February (it's now July 31).
They continue to submit the charge to my credit card company (Capital One) even though I've sent Capital One all the proof that I returned the merchandise the minute I realized that these people charged my card, WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I previously told Capital One that they charged my card without my authorization and then since cancelled the credit card and had it reissued. This charge continues to show up on my card, and I actually can't blame Capital One.
I blame Berkeley Nutraceuticals because they are falsely advertising. When you flash "12 month money back guarantee" without telling consumers that this is based on a 12 month purchase, and this is not clearly seen on your television screen like their product, their claims of it's success and usage, their claim to give refunds, yet they don't tell you how much the actual product isn't going to ask, is FRAUD.
I plan on suing this company for my charges because they just don't get that some consumers will simply not tolerate this kind of business advertising.
