Walmart denied my credit card!

Thank you Walmart! I didn't realize until tonight the futility of using consumer credit as a way to get from one paycheck to another, you made it clear to me that credit cards are my problem, not a solution! Last month I was a day late with my Walmart payment... Of course that meant my next payment, due tomorrow would be thirty dollars higher but I accepted that. I called to find out how much available credit I had left before driving over to buy a few groceries. I was told I had $26.00 available so I was careful to pick up only about $20.00 worth of groceries. Thank you for denying my credit at the checkstand without warning or explanation! It made me realize I couldn't rely on a credit card to help me out in a tight spot. It made me realize that the interest I spend on consumer credit is a huge drain on my budget and a primary reason why my budget is so tight in the first place. And since you've made it so clear that you no longer want my business I will thank you by shredding my Walmart card, and never spending another dime in one of your stores! I feel so relieved and thankful. I will honor my debt and pay off my card balance, but please don't worry about me coming back and bothering you by making purchases; I promise I won't!
